The Birth of Venus

A photographic interpretation of Botticellis The Birth of Venus with one big difference:

We changed the roles of the painting. On the original Zephir (the wind) holds his wife Chloris in his arms and blows Venus to the shores. But the background story is, that he had actually raped her. I am tired of seeing all these rapists glorified in art. How often do I have to look at a swan (Zeus) humping a beautiful woman? My life purpose is to amplify love and to inspire with beauty, I want to paint the most beautiful alternatives of how we can live and collaborate as human beings, I want to inspire to reach higher.

So Ciao Zephir. It’s time to rewrite the story.

A nude woman with long red hair standing inside a large seashell, with decorative elements and hanging roses in the background.
A woman with long, wavy hair, partially nude, covered in gold leaf, standing in front of a muted background with a plant to the side.
A group of people surrounding a woman posing elegantly with a seashell backdrop, surrounded by plants and draped fabric, in a staged artistic scene.
Three women sitting around a statue of a woman with glitter on her body, amid draped fabric and plants, with flowers falling from the ceiling in a dimly lit, artistic setting.
Four women around a statue of a woman emerging from a shell, with rose petals floating above.
